The Canadian Therapeutics and Prescribing Exam Re-write

The Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors facilitates the Pharmacy Exams on an as needed basis, though generally about twice a year. Alberta does not facilitate the oral portion.

For Alberta NDs wishing to also have prescribing authority in BC, there are additional BC specific Jurisprudence questions that need to be included. If this applies to you, you must tell us upon registration (at the exam or in the two weeks prior to the exam will not suffice for notice).

Procedures:

  • 1. If you would like to do the exam re-write, please email executivedirector@albertands.org letting us know. We will keep a short waitlist.
  • 2. Once we have a few people we will set a date and let you know by email. We will also post notice in our membership e-broadcasts and post on our website.
  • 3. Register on our website. Fees are:
              a. Cost to AAND - $30 plus GST
              b. Cost for exam - $375 plus GST
Further day-of procedures will be advised.
